Kestrels 16th October

Well, we have made it to the end of our first half term for this academic year. All the Kestrels have worked incredibly hard this half term and they are all ready for and deserve a good rest.
This week we have been solving problems using the written method of addition and subtraction before moving on to using mental methods of addition and subtraction.
We have been using our descriptive vocabulary to describe different settings and characters and to end the week we have written our own ending to a familiar story.
I really hope all the Kestrels have a lovely break and come back to school refreshed and ready for the next half term.
I will e-mail parents evening appointments out to parents over the half term break.
