Shape activities

The Little Chicks have been learning the shape matching game. The Little Chicks turned two over at a time and then found the matching shapes as they took turns.

To extend their learning we played shape memory where they had to turn over then remember where the two matching shapes were for their next turn, they needed some support to understand.

The Little Chicks have been learning shapes, they drew around a stencil and coloured them in, naming the shapes to Mrs Stock.

The Little Chicks have been sorting shapes into either colour or shape catergories, there was circle, square, rectangle, triangle and hexagon. The children could sort by colour or shape catergory, some could complete both.
