On VE day I made cupcakes with sprinkles spelling out ' VE DAY '.
I also was wearing blue and white just like the union jack.
We facetimed my great grandma to ask her what it was like during WW2 and on VE day. She said on VE day she visited Buckingham palace and saw the princesses walk out but didn't see the queen. We also watched the current queen's speech talking about what her father said on VE day.
