Kestrels. 9th - 13th March

We have had another fun and busy week in Kestrels. We have continued to develop our skills in Invasion Games with input from Fleetwood Town and we also finished our investigations into shadows. We presented our findings in Bar charts and wrote up our conclusion detailing what we found out.

In our Maths lessons we have been looking at decimal numbers - tenths and hundredths and how we can convert between decimal number and fractions.

In our English lessons we have been learning all about explanation texts. We have written our own explanation about shadows.

In other lessons we have been looking at features of weather forecasts and planning our own weather forecast for green-screen. We have also been learning French words for different weather conditions.

Our star of this week this week is Harrison for being noticed by a number of adults around school for always doing the right thing and with a smile on his face. Well Done H!

What was your favourite element of being in Kestrels this week?

Have a great weekend.

I liked P.E because people were stoping us from getting to the other side of the cones and it was really fun.????.

I have enjoyed doing geography about the weather because it is important that you know what the weather is around the world if you want to travel. Don't go to Brazil in your sunglasses when it is raining.

My favourite part of kestrels last week was the invasion games with Fleetwood town because there s one team defending and one team attacking.
