Another fun and busy week in Kestrels.

We are all really enjoying our PE sessions with Fleetwood Town on a Monday, we are learning lots of new skills we can then use in our games.

This week we have been looking at shadows. We have learnt how shadows are formed and have carried out experiments to see if shadows change size/shape over the course of a day. Next week we are going to explore why shadows do appear to move.

In Maths we have continued our work on Fractions, looking at what happens when we add different fractions.

To celebrate World Book Day we have written biographies of our favorite authors and we have produced some art work in the style of Andy Warhol featuring book characters.

Well done to Christopher who is our Star of the Week this week.

Thank you to all parents who came along to parents evening this week, it was great to see you all and discuss your child's progress and learning.

Have a lovely weekend.

I have learnt that biographies are based on a writers life. I did my biography on J. K. Rowling. I learnt about her life, from being a young girl to becoming a good author.
