A visit from a polar explorer!

What a fantastic start to the week we have had! This morning Mr Redman came to talk to us about his life when he lived in the Arctic circle. which linked perfectly with our topic. He brought in lots of equipment, tools and clothes to show us and we watched a slideshow learning about the different animals that he saw. He brought in a real reindeer skin for us to feel and it was amazing to see how thick it was! Mr Redman was very impressed with all the information that we knew about the Arctic and we taught him some new things!
