KS1 Stunning Start

What a fantastic stunning start to our new topic 'Where in the world are we?'!

We learnt some about some 'breaking news' this morning:

- Blackpool Tower falling down

-Central Pier sinking

-The Winter Gardens catching fire

The children's faces were so shocked and they were hooked straight away!

This afternoon we went on a fact and opinion hunt around the playground and found different facts/opinions about Central Pier. 

We learnt the difference between facts and opinions and sorted them out under the right heading. 

We can't wait to get stuck into learning about our local area and the wider world over the this half term!
