The Layers of the Rainforest
4 March 2019
This afternoon we started our Rainforest research project! We learnt about the layers of the Rainforest and what animals live there. We hope you like our rainforest learning wall!
Can you remember the layers of the rainforest?
Which layer do sloths live in? Or snakes? Or jaguars?

The bottom layer is the forest floor, then it’s the understory, then the canopy and on top is the emergent. Sloths live in the canopy. Snakes live in any part except the emergent. Jaguars live in the forest floor. An eagle lives in the emergent layer so they have lots of room to fly around.
