We were taught by James in P.E., a local tennis coach. All the children enjoyed the lesson and are looking forward to the next session. We have learned a song about the Great Fire of London and we used instruments to accompany the song. We created 2D houses like those on Pudding Lane in 1666. We wrote diaries about escaping the fire and read our work to our friends and to the class. We finished the week investigating the properties of materials, and found ourselves using the words flexible, transparent, opaque and heat resistant!
