Kestrels Cup Cake Success

We have had another fun and action packed week in Kestrels. 

We have been busy making circuits in Science, solving written column addition and subtraction problems in Maths and learning how to write instructions in English. 

We have been doing outdoor learning with Mrs Hicks each afternoon this week and been playing team problem solving games in our OAA PE lessons. 

Today was our class turn to host Fairy Cake Friday. A massive Thank You to you all for supporting this and sending cakes in for the children to sell. The children had great fun selling their cakes to other classes around school and we made quite a bit of money too! 

Our star of the week this week is Daniel. He has shown how he has settled in well into life in KS2, has shown he has great resilience and does not give up and his behaviour is an example to all. It was also his 8th Birthday this week. Well Done Daniel! 

The children have brought home 2 sets of song lyrics to learn over the weekend. This is in preparation for our class assembly on Tuesday next week. Please can I ask you to help your child to try and learn some of these words over the weekend.
