Hard work pays off!

We have worked so hard in Herons this week! I am so proud of all the children and their dedication to their learning. Their enthusiasm and commitment is why we are doing so well.
In Maths, we have been practising our addition skills - we are getting really confident and are even completing missing number problems. In English, we have been writing instruction texts. We have had lots of fun following instructions, writing our own and making jam sandwiches! They were yummy!

I loved making a jam sandwich because I was with Leo. The second thing I loved in making a jam sandwich was that the sandwich was yummy. Leo got to do the butter, I got to do the jam. My friend Finlay was making his too with Annabelle Coughlan. I want to make a jam sandwich again. Thank you Miss Birch for planning that.
