This week we have seen lots of PE and Sport at Carleton Green.

Sadly the Y5 and 6 football match was cancelled on Monday but this has been re-scheduled.

On Tuesday our Archery club were out in full force enjoying another evening of bow and arrows in the sunshine. It is great to see another sport being enjoyed so much at Carleton Green and the children are really enjoying the club.

Every day this week there have been fantastic indoor and outdoor PE lessons going on around school with such a wide variety of the curriculum being taught. Hopefully, the weather will let us continue to enjoy our outdoor PE for weeks to come yet.

The Tag Rugby team have been training really hard and are really starting to take shape and show great potential. Mr Powell is really pleased with you all.

Our new PALs have started their training this week. We will have them out leading playtime activity for our younger children in the near future.

Our KS1 Multi skills club have really enjoyed practicing their fine motor skills and playing different games together.

Every class has been out taking part in our Mile at various points over the week. Research shows that not only does this mile help towards children being fit and healthy but also improved concentration and engagement in the classroom. Keep it up everyone!

Finally, our football team have been out training after school again tonight, ready for their next match on Monday - Good Luck Team Carleton Green!

Phew, what a busy, active and healthy bunch you all are!
