We have enjoyed writing recounts in literacy. In maths we have been describing the properties of 2D and 3D shapes. We have read up to chapter 6 of our class novel, 'The Magic Faraway Tree', by Enid Blyton. In science we have been thinking about the most important things we need to keep us alive. The children played percussion instruments in music and had to keep to a rhythm. We have created self portraits on a canvas using pointilism, a repeated dabbing technique. We have drawn treasure maps which will be the covers for our writing anthologies. I am very proud of everyone in Robins for settling so well.
