Buddy the Elf!

We have been very busy this week at Little Chicks! We have continued with our topic of nursery rhymes, were we have been looking at rhyming words, discovering rhythm by clapping the syllables in our names, and singing lots of different nursery rhymes. Outside in the water, Incy Wincy spider got stuck in the drain spout so we used jugs and lots of water to wash him out! We helped Jack and Jill build a well using foam bricks and we also practised our Grand Old Duke marching. Inside we have been getting the classroom ready for Christmas and making decorations ready for the Christmas markets! 

On Friday somebody special came to Little Chicks, along with a letter from Father Christmas!! Buddy the elf has come to stay to watch over the children, making sure that they are being good boys and girls! We have been warned though, that Buddy is quite cheeky so we might have to see if he is on his best behaviour!
