Celebrations!

Welcome back! I hope you all had a lovely and restful half term!

This week in Little Chicks we have started our new topic of celebrations. The children have been sharing their halloween, bonfire and firework stories with us and in the creative area, they have been making some splat firework paintings and making lots of mess! Their fantastic work is up on the wall, feel free to come and take a look. In the small world, we have been playing with the fire station and engines. This has proved very popular, with lots of imaginative play and language used! Outside we have had our first frost with the children exploring why and how it happened, and what happens the sun comes out. We have also been making yummy recipes in the mud kitchen, and at snack we make firework biscuits using icing and sprinkles! 

Next week we will be talking about rememberance day and anti-bulling week.
