The Three Little Pigs

Little Chicks have been carrying on with their traditional stories topic with the story of the three little pigs this week. The children have enjoyed repeating the refrains and anticipating key parts of the story. In the malleable area, the children have been creating the pigs faces using playdough. Using various tools and equipment to make features. We have also been practising our mark making skills, by chalking key words from the story onto chalkboards.

Outside we have been using the connecting poles to create a house, and have been builders in the sand, using the foam bricks and trowels to build a wall, using the sand as cement.
