Telling the time.

Herons are learning to tell the time. Today we learned and practised what each hand is for and where it goes to tell the time for; o'clock, half past, quarter to and quarter past.

We played a game of; "What's the Time Mr. Wolf?" with a difference. Each time had a different kind of movement; steps, half steps and sideways. There was a lot of cheating to try and catch the wolf but it was a good way to practise telling the time.

Afterwards we matched our daily routine to the times on our clocks and some of us went on to learn about how each number around the clock is for 5 minutes.
