Reach for the Sky
24 March 2016
This week the children in Year 3/4 gave two stunning performances to a packed school hall full of parents, grandparents and siblings.
Below are some of the children's thoughts:
"I thought the play was amzing. I loved my part because I got to use an inflatable dolphin!" (CW)
"I liked the play because I got to play the part of the teacher" (KR)
"I liked the play because it had alot of humour!" (DT)
"I had to have a hole in the underside of my shorts! That was quite amusing!" (AC-H)
"Having dances during each song was fab. I was in two dances. My favourite one was 'The Best I can Be'" (EJ)
"I knew I would love the play as I love performing. I loved the song 'Can I Borrow some Shorts'. I knew all the words really well and I sang my heart out!" (AW)
"My favourite song was Swimming Today as I got to do some air guitar!" (JK)
"I enjoyed the play because the audience laughed after my line which made me feel happy!" RB
"The last song 'The best I can Be' was my favourite as I got to stand on stage and sing with my 'family' " (FG)
"I liked the swimming pool scene. The actors were fantastic, especially the swimming instructors who had lots of lines to learn!" (ELW)
"I liked the play because in my scene I actually learnt something about the Ancient Greeks that I didn't know already!" (EB)
Well done to every single child who took part - you were magnificent.
