Catching and Throwing to each other

In Duckilngs we were doing our PE outside again to make the most of the lovely weather. We were catching and throwing today. we talked about how to stand with our legs a shoulder width apart, how to throw with our hands under the ball pushing it up and forwards and how to catch by moving our hands together and bringing the ball towards us. always keeping our eyes on the ball. it was tricky to not throw to hard or to gentle and to make sure it was the correct height so our partner could catch it. Some of us also found it tricky not to turn away when the ball was being thrown and to keep our eyes on the ball. Have a practise at home! if you already great at catching and throwing try varying the distance, speed and height of the throw and catch. Let us know how you get on.
