Owls Scooter Day and Dragon's Den!

On Wednesday 10th June we had a fabulous day, from designing and costing up our own scooter to practising our scooter skills in the afternoon with a scooter professional! It was so great to see our Owls with their scooter, learning new skills and perfecting skills already learned. It was also fantastic to see them work in teams to design their own scooter using a list of scooter parts. They then worked out how much the scooter would cost to make and then decided on a selling price for them. Next, they created a persuasive advert for their scooter using all the features of persuasive writing that we have learned so far. 

Two days later on Friday they 'pitched' our scooter ideas. They were brilliant at this! Although some scooters may have been priced too cheaply but this made them a bargain! All of the children earned paper money for their designs. Well done Owls.
