Visit from the Global Renewables Team!

It's the week before our exciting field trip to the Global Renewables site in Leyland and the teachers from the site have come to visit us and work with us.

They taught us about what they do at their site, but without giving too much away! 

We also learned more about how we can make compost with food waste and which minibeasts are involved in the process.

After this we then created our own minibeasts, deciding on whether they were going to be a predator or prey.

Additionally, we were given the challenge of preparing a lunch for our field trip with ZERO non-recyclable waste!

This afternoon made us very excited for our trip!
