Today, in science, we have been talking about where our food comes from and how it is grown and gets to our plate. We watched a video about broccoli and how it is grown and what happens to it before it gets to our supermarkets. We went to our school garden and looked at all of the plants that are growing that provide us with food. We found potatoes, tomato plants, strawberries, blackcurrant and raspberry bushes, sweetcorn, peas, rhubarb and a grape vine.
