Winter Wonderland in the Nest
Children have worked fantastically in The Nest during the afternoons this week and have made a great start to their 'Winter Wonderland' learning.
Children have added to make 10 in different ways using icebergs, penguins and polar bears, they have investigated and written winter words using THRASS and have worked on their cursive handwriting. They have also carried out research around school in the form of a tally chart to find out which biscuits and buns the children would like to buy at our bake sale on Tuesday and Wednesday next week. In order to publicise our event, the children created posters and they also wrote letters to Mrs McGrath requesting money to buy the resources; we all had fun going shopping on Friday to buy the items that we needed.
Well done everyone, you should be very proud of your hard work!
