Wow! What a busy few weeks it has been!

I am incredibly impressed with how Robins have settled into their new class. We have had lots of fun getting to know our new friends.

Over the last two weeks we have been learning about Blackpool, the children have enjoyed learning new facts about our local town and building our very own Blackpool Tower. Our work is now on display around school!

We have started our new term with lots of new and interesting topics. In literacy we have been learning about Traditional Tales. This week all of the Robins have performed amazing role play performances of Little Red Riding Hood! Well done Robins!

Also this week, the children have shown a fantastic understanding in our place value work. We have been writing numbers in numerals and words and comparing and ordering numbers.

Can you find out the ages of your family members and order them from youngest to oldest?

Another huge WELL DONE Robins ! I am very proud of you all.

Have a fantastic weekend,

Miss Clarkson

I was very impessed with the facts that Faye could tell me about the Blackpool Tower like that it takes 7 years to paint.
Well done Faye!

Alice has loved finding family and baby photographs tonight and has stuck a picture of us in her homework book with labels and ages.

I liked when we were learning about the wolf and the seven kids., because the wolf disguised himself.

I really enjoy doing clocks in maths, because you have to draw a circle and then put in the tick tock and learn the numbers. And I like doing less than and more than. I enjoy adding numbers.
I also enjoy playing outside at break time!!!
