Occupation: Head of Music at Broughton High School, Preston

Role on the Governing Board: Parent Governor

Governor Appointment Date: 20/07/21.

Why I became a Governor: Carleton Green has been such a great school from a parent point of view, so I wanted to give back to the school community. I have been teaching Music since 2006 so if I can support the school and pupils in developing Performing Arts further that would be fantastic.

One interesting fact about me: I have performed at Disneyland Paris, on stage playing the trumpet which was an amazing experience as I got to see behind the scenes. My trumpet playing has also resulted in me being part of computer game soundtracks for the Xbox and PlayStation!
