Welcome to Kestrels 2019-20

We are a mixed Year 3 & 4 class here at Carleton Green taught by Mr Cooper. Mrs Macdonald is our LSA. She works with us each day and supports our learning.

Mrs Gough teaches us RE and Swimming on a Monday afternoon.

Kestrels class love the outdoors and take part in outdoor learning all year round. We are particularly keen to become 'Outdoor Readers' this year.

In Kestrels, we also love to practice our timestables as we understand how important they are to help us in all aspects of our maths. We like to play games and have competitions against each other and against Mr Cooper to see who can answer questions the quickest.

Kestrels need to remember to come to school wearing PE kits and bring swimming kits on a Monday. The Y4 children in Kestrels need to remember to bring their flutes in on a Friday. This term (Autumn) we are learning about the Stong Age, Iron Age and Bronze Age. We will finish the second half of this term in the run up to Christmas learning all about The Romans.

We will blog our learning, laughter, fun and friendship regularly - so make sure you come back here often to check out what we have been up to.
