We have really enjoyed learning about traditional tales in English over the past 3 weeks. We have read the Wolf and The Seven Kids and The Cat, The Dog, Little red, Exploding Eggs, The Wolf and Grandma's Wardrobe. We have also had the opportunity to share your favourite stories from home including Jack and the Meanstalk. We have created our own tradional tales with a twist, adapting our favourite tales.

Which story was your favourite in English? What did you enjoy most about our unit on traditional tales? What traditional tale did you change? How did you change it?

My favourite story was Little Red because it was really funny! I also loved Jack and the incredibly mean stalk which we lent to class as it's a really brilliant story! My best part of the unit was making up my own story because I like writing! The traditional tale that I changed was Little Red Riding Hood and instead my story was called Little Yellow Riding Hood and she saw a fox instead of a wolf :)
