The Lancashire Museum World War 2 trip in Preston was fantastic. We experienced themes within World War 2 through spectacular museum guides who gave us interesting facts about World War 2 and also enabled us to have a go at many different activities. We had the opportunity to become a spy under cover and learn all the facts about the person we were pretending to be. In addition to this, we were trained up in 'Intelligence' and were able to unlock a secret code, using Morse Code. Then we were shown how to dis-able an 'explosive' until finally, we were shown the workings of the Land Army. All of the guides put on a great show and really got in to character, which made the day even more exciting and memorable. All of the children were a credit to Carleton Green and were a pleasure to take out.
